1. Who we are

Driving School Finder (drivingschoolfinder.co.za) is an online directory of driving schools operating in the Republic of South Africa. These terms govern your use of the website and any services we provide. By accessing or using drivingschoolfinder.co.za you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. A free, read-only service

The site is free to use. There are no user accounts, sign-ups, or paid plans. Learners and visitors use the site to find driving schools, read guides, and take practice tests. The site is funded by advertising and clearly marked affiliate links.

3. Directory listings

Listings are compiled from publicly available sources including Google Places. If you are the owner of a listed school and the information is incorrect, contact us to have it corrected or removed. We make reasonable efforts to keep listings accurate but do not guarantee completeness or correctness of any listing.

4. Verified badge

The Verified badge indicates that we have conducted the following checks at the time of verification: provincial Department of Transport registration, physical address confirmation, instructor accreditation, and an owner phone call. Verification is renewed annually. The badge does not constitute an endorsement of the school's quality of instruction and does not guarantee any outcome for learners.

5. Contacting schools

The site does not collect or forward learner enquiries. When you contact a driving school using the phone number, email address, or website shown on its listing, you deal with that school directly - we are not a party to any agreement between you and a school, and we are not responsible for the school's services, pricing, or conduct.

6. Advertising and affiliate links

The site displays third-party advertising and contains affiliate links, which are marked as sponsored. If you buy a product or service through an affiliate link we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Advertisers and affiliate partners do not influence editorial content, cost figures, or how schools are ranked.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use this site to:

• Scrape, copy, or republish directory data without written permission
• Submit fraudulent school listings or false correction requests
• Impersonate another person, school, or organisation
• Interfere with the operation of the site or its infrastructure
• Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, or discriminatory under South African law

8. Intellectual property

All content on this site - including guides, K53 materials, practice test questions, and editorial content - is owned by or licensed to Driving School Finder. Schools retain ownership of their business names, photos, and other materials shown on their listings.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided "as is". We make no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular school is suitable for your needs. Use of the site and reliance on any listed school is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Driving School Finder is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or any school found through it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to registered school accounts at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the site after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
