1. Who we are

Driving School Finder (drivingschoolfinder.co.za) is an online directory of driving schools operating in the Republic of South Africa. These terms govern your use of the website and any services we provide. By accessing or using drivingschoolfinder.co.za you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Two types of users

Learners and visitors use the site for free to find driving schools, read guides, and take practice tests. No account is required.

School owners may claim a listing and subscribe to a paid plan (Verified or Verified+) to access the lead management dashboard, verified badge, and other features. School owners must create an account and accept these terms at sign-up.

3. Directory listings

Free listings are imported from publicly available sources including Google Places. If you are the owner of a listed school and the information is incorrect, contact us or claim your listing to edit it. We make reasonable efforts to keep listings accurate but do not guarantee completeness or correctness of any listing, including free listings.

4. Verified badge

The Verified badge indicates that we have conducted the following checks at the time of verification: provincial Department of Transport registration, physical address confirmation, instructor accreditation, and an owner phone call. Verification is renewed annually. The badge does not constitute an endorsement of the school's quality of instruction and does not guarantee any outcome for learners.

5. Lead forms and learner data

When a learner submits a lead form on a paid school's profile, their contact details and preferences are shared with that school only. We do not sell or share learner data with any other party. Schools receiving leads agree to contact learners only in connection with the driving school enquiry and not to use lead data for any other commercial purpose.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in South African Rand (ZAR) via Paystack. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your nominated payment method on a recurring basis. Prices are as published on the pricing page at the time of subscription. We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' written notice.

Annual subscriptions are billed in full at the start of each annual period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no further charges are made but no pro-rata refund is issued for the remainder of the period unless required by applicable South African consumer law. 7. Acceptable use

You may not use this site to:

• Scrape, copy, or republish directory data without written permission
• Submit false leads or fraudulent school listings
• Impersonate another person, school, or organisation
• Interfere with the operation of the site or its infrastructure
• Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, or discriminatory under South African law

8. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including guides, K53 materials, practice test questions, and editorial content — is owned by or licensed to Driving School Finder. School owners retain ownership of photos and content they upload to their profiles and grant us a licence to display that content on the site.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided "as is". We make no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular school is suitable for your needs. Use of the site and reliance on any listed school is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Driving School Finder is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or any school found through it. Our total liability to any school subscriber is limited to the fees paid in the three months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to registered school accounts at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the site after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
