Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective 1 June 2025. All amounts in South African Rand (ZAR). Billing via Paystack.

1. Subscription plans

We offer two paid plans for driving school owners:

  • Verified — R199/month or R1990/year (2 months free)
  • Verified+ — R399/month or R3990/year (2 months free)

Subscriptions are billed in advance via Paystack. Monthly plans renew on the same date each month. Annual plans renew on the same date each year.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing section of your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain full access to your dashboard and verified badge until that date. After the period ends, your listing reverts to a free (unverified) listing — it remains in the directory but without the badge, lead form, or dashboard access.

Cancelling a monthly plan stops the next monthly charge. Cancelling an annual plan stops the next annual renewal — no further charges are made.

3. Refunds — monthly plans

Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has started. If you cancel partway through a month, you keep access until the month ends and no partial refund is issued.

Exception: If you cancel within 48 hours of your first payment on a new subscription and have not yet received any leads through the platform, contact us and we will issue a full refund.

4. Refunds — annual plans

Annual subscriptions are non-refundable once the plan is active, except in the following circumstances:

  • Within 7 days of payment — full refund if you have not yet been verified and have not received any leads.
  • Extended service outage — if the platform is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours, we will issue a pro-rata credit for the affected period.
  • Verification rejected — if your school fails our verification process and we are unable to verify you within 14 business days, you are entitled to a full refund of the subscription fee paid.

5. Lead quality

We do not guarantee a minimum number of leads. Lead volume depends on search traffic to your suburb and city pages, which varies. We do not issue refunds based on lead volume alone.

If you believe a specific lead was clearly fraudulent (fake contact details submitted maliciously), report it to us within 7 days. We will investigate and, at our discretion, may apply a credit to your account.

6. Payment failures

If a payment fails, Paystack will retry automatically. We will notify you by email. If payment is not resolved within 7 days, your account will be downgraded to a free listing until payment is received. No data is deleted during this period.

7. Consumer Protection Act

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. If you believe you are entitled to a remedy under the CPA that this policy does not address, contact us or the National Consumer Commission.

8. How to request a refund

Email billing@drivingschoolfinder.co.za with your school name, registered email address, and the reason for the request. We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Paystack back to the original payment method and typically take 5–10 business days to appear.
